Charging the e-Berlingo couldn't be easier to be completely honest. We offer a range of charging cables at 4EV, for different sources of charging. We always suggest fast charging to our customers, and this doesn't change for the e-Berlingo. If you wanted to charge your e-Berlingo via a public charge point, or home installed EV charging unit - you can expect to charge at 7.2kW using a 32A charging cable. This charges at around 23 miles per hour. Alternatively, charging via your 3-pin household socket is another option. Admittedly, it is a slow option - but convenient for those without a home-installed charging unit. Allowing for a 2.3kW charge, at around 8 miles per hour (perfect for those wanting to overnight charge). Both of these options being home-solutions, referred to as AC charging.
DC charging is also an option as earlier mentioned. DC charging can be performed, up to 100kWh. Which essentially allows for your battery to be replenished in just 30 minutes. Wanting to utilise the DC charging option on the e-Berlingo? DC charging cables, in this instance a CCS charging cable for the CCS port on the e-Berlingo, can be found at specific public charge points. We're seriously impressed by the e-Berlingo and if you have any further questions, or want advice - please do get in touch at support@4ev.co.uk.
